MTV Networks Africa (MTVNA) and Discovery Networks were announced as the joint winners of the Broadcaster of The Year accolade at the SatCom Star Awards held on 22 May at the Sandton Sun Hotel in Johannesburg. This annual event celebrates excellence in the African satellite and broadcast industry and rewards exceptional performers and innovators.
The winners were judged by satellite industry leaders.
MTV Networks Africa senior VP & MD, Alex Okosi, accepted the award from Jaylene Naidoo, GM, SatCom Africa.
