Visual Impact has launched Digilabs, a new division that incorporates previous HD Hub services as well digital laboratory services, using Assimilate Scratch Labs and other tools.
These labs are based at Visual Impact’s branches in Cape Town and Johannesburg. There are also mobile facilities which can be placed on site at any location.
Digilabs provides full digital imaging services for all large sensor cameras including Alexa, Phantom, and RED. Other services include CAR, FTPs, data redundancy, storage solutions, and final deliveries and conform, as well as digital cinema packages (DCP) delivery.
Digilabs recently completed MasterChef South Africa, where unprecedented amounts of data were processed.
