The Afrikaans-language musical, Platteland (2 prints), is still on the local circuit after 11 weeks and had made R8.1m as at 5 February.
Another Afrikaans film, Hoofmeisie (12 prints), had made R4.2m at the end of the weekend after seven weeks of release.
