NHU Africa in partnership with Iziko Museums brings to Cape Town the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition.
Now in its 47th year, the 2011 competition saw over 40,000 entries from all corners of the globe.
South African photographer, Peter Chadwick from Bredasdorp, won the esteemed Gerald Durrell Award for Edangered Wildlife.
Another skilled local, Thomas P Peschak, was named runner-up in the Urban Wildlife category.
All 108 exquisite images will be on lightbox display in the Iziko South African Museum in Victoria Street, Cape Town from 7 December.
