To enter, visit www.pendoring.co.za. The closing date for entries is 15 August and judging under chairmanship of award-wining Jan Teulingkx of Saatchi & Saatchi in Brussels, takes place from 1 to 3 September.
Teulingxk cut his advertising teeth in Argentina, where he talked himself into a job as a copywriter – in a language he didn’t speak – at the South American hot shop Agullay Baccetti. At the time the agency was at the top of his game, winning numerous Cannes Lions, being among the top three in the world.
He worked as a copywriter in the fast and relentless hot shop Mortierbrigade before he took on a job as, what he called junior creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi in Brussels. Since then, the agency has won numerous national and international awards. As executive creative director Teulingkx and his teams work on major network clients such as Toyota, Guinness and T-Mobile, as well as several new business projects. He strongly believes in innovation, story and relevance, but doesn’t like the words “360’ or “yes, but it was online’.
The finalists will be announced mid-September and the glittering gala-event takes place on Friday, 21 October at Vodaworld, Midrand.
