As at 12pm on Monday 18 April, tickets for this year’s Loerie Awards, the premier brand communication awards in South Africa, Africa and the Middle East that take place in Cape Town from 16 to 18 September, went on sale.
Tickets can be booked at www.theloerieawards.co.za via the Loeries new electronic booking system. All ticket prices and seating information can be found on the website.
This year’s Loeries are set to be the most stylish yet with a black tie audience, red carpet treatment, and slick and entertaining ceremonies to present the award winning work. Each night will start at 7pm and will run no longer than two hours. The awards ceremonies will be held in the main auditorium of the Cape Town International Convention Centre, on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September.
On Saturday evening a live broadcast of the show will run at a local cinema, where Official Party ticketholders will be able to watch the awards with a cash bar at hand. On Sunday evening, The Official Party will kick off at the Fez at the same time at the awards ceremony and will include a live feed.
Tickets can be bought for either evening or a weekend pass for both nights (all tickets provide access to The Official Party on Sunday) can be purchased. The awards ceremonies are limited to 1,500 seats, with a further 1,000 tickets available for The Official Party.
· VIP tickets include access to the Mayor’s Welcome Function, as well as all VIP areas throughout the weekend, during the awards ceremony and VIP access at The Official Party.
· Grand tickets are for the industry elite and include access to The Official Party.
· Student tickets are for students only. Tickets can only be purchased via educational institutions and seats are very limited. Educational institutions must contact the Loeries office to request student tickets.
· The Official Party gives access to the party on Sunday evening, as well as access to the live relay on Saturday evening.
All tickets include access to official functions, including the Battle of the Bands, Student Portfolio Day and The Official Party. VIP’s will also have access to the Mayor’s Welcome Function.

Cape Town Tourism is the official accommodation partner of The Loerie Awards. Accommodation can now be booked via their special Loeries site www.capetown.travel/loeries.
The entry deadline for The 33rd Annual Loerie Awards is 13 May.
