The 26th International Short Film Festival Berlin (16 – 21 November 2010), which is supported by Zucker Kommunikation, Heinrich Boll Stiftung and Interfilm Berlin will again host the Viral Video Award.
The festival is looking for films with a message. All entries should aim to communicate either a promotional, political or original message. Entries cannot be older than two years and should have already had success on the Internet, or at least be on the way to doing just that.
The festival intends to bring international virals together in one competition and find out which of the nominated films proves to be the most successful within the competition. In addition to this, the artistic and creative aspects of viral production will also be acknowledged by an expert jury.
Public online voting on www.viralvideoaward.com will run from 18 October to 18 November 2010.
