Halls, the renowned throat lozenge brand continues to encourage South Africans to speak out through the brand’s latest television “squirrel’ commercial. The TVC features Halls’ new mascot – a lovable, fluffy-tailed squirrel whose been sadly mistaken as a rat.
In keeping with the brand’s “Free your Voice’ proposition which goes beyond soothing irritated throats, the commercial demonstrates how Halls can give consumers the confidence to speak and be heard – giving them a voice. The “squirrel’ campaign created by Ogilvy Cape Town not only builds on this proposition, but also ties in with the football fever that’s currently sweeping South Africa.
The commercial hit South Africa’s small screens on 3 May on SABC and e.tv, and will run until the end of August – through the brand’s key winter season and also through football season.
