Endemol South Africa, the production company behind the soapie Isidingo and the reality shows Big Brother Africa and Survivor Africa, has announced that MD Levern Engel has stepped down.
Sivan Pillay, alongside whom Engel was appointed MD on 1 November 2008, remains MD and will take over Engle’s responsibilities. Engel joined Endemol South Africa on 1 January 2008 as Head-Infotainment and Entertainment.
Chairman of Endemol South Africa Moeletsi Mbeki comments: “Levern has played a key role in the growth and success of Endemol South Africa during her time with the company. She will be greatly missed and leaves with our very best wishes.’
