Calling all wildlife filmmakers

The premiere wildlife film festival, Wildscreen, is searching for the best wildlife and environmental films from around the world for its prestigious Panda Awards. Dubbed “The Green Oscars’, entries for the Panda Awards are open until 26 March.

In 2008, the Festival attracted 440 films from 43 countries; 62 productions were selected for viewing by the Final Jury and 22 prizes were awarded in fields as diverse as animal behaviour to campaigning, editing to newcomer.

The 2010 awards will be presented at a gala Award Ceremony held during the Festival week (10 to 15 October) in Bristol, where over 650 leading industry figures will gather to celebrate and applaud the winning films.
