The same films that made the top five at the South African box office the previous week were still there at the week ending 6 August. They comprise two animated films with 3D, a fantasy with loads of CGI and two Hollywood comedies.
G-Force took top spot, having made R2.1m to date, followed by the Sandra Bullock/Ryan Reynolds comedy The Proposal, which has made R12.6m after four weeks. In third spot was Harry Potter 6 (R11.2m after three weeks), followed by Ice Age 3 (R23.7m after five weeks) and the comedy The Hangover (R12.1m after seven weeks).
