Happily it seems that Gavin Hood’s new film, X-Men Origins: Wolverine has been little affected by the piracy incident in March, when a workprint of the film found its way onto the Internet. The film made an estimated $87 in its opening weekend at the US box office (1 – 3 May), making it the biggest non-holiday ever opening for a Fox film. Total worldwide box office was $160m.
