June-July 2009 sees the annual Clapper Loader’s Course upskilling both Cape Town and Joburg-based industry-hopefuls. This is the first time it will be run in both provinces within the same year!
The course, now in its 13th year, is a true mainstay of the South African film industry and has built a reputation for supplying thorough, dedicated, committed and über-professional camera assistants; primarily due to it’s no-nonsense, intensive bootcamp-style structure in which students get a real taste of set-life and its demands.
Well-known for it’s ability to stay up to date with emerging technology, the course will now include an intensive Digital-module which will span 5 of the 12 days, specifically tailored for up and coming Digital Camera Assistants.
The Joburg-leg of the course will run from the 22 June – 4 July. Cape Town will host the course from the 6 -18 July.
