Demonstrating the power that a hit movie can have on a location, the US state in which much of the teen vampire movie Twilight has shot, Washington, has passed a bill granting tax breaks to filmmakers.
One of the reasons that the Washing state senate voted unanimously to pass the bill was because of media reports which stated that the Twilight producers were thinking of shooting the sequel in British Columbia. (Source: Studio Briefing)
