MetropolitanRepublic boasts 7 accounts in 6 months

MetropolitanRepublic has knotched up its seventh account in six months with the recent awarding of the Wimpy advertising account  to the agency.

The two-year old MetropolitanRepublic’s other accounts include Stuttafords (September 2008 win), Anglo Platinum (October 2008 win), FMCG giant Tiger Brands (November 2008 win), and the highly regarded World Aids Day campaign (December 2008 win).

MetropolitanRepublic walked into the Wimpy pitch as a “family”, says Peter Khoury, Executive Creative Director for MetropolitanRepublic who says “Wimpy for us has always meant family, good food and good memories.”

According to MetropolitanRepublic, the founder and chief creative Paul Warner continues to pioneer new advertising “movements” for his clients and continues to believe that “you need to interrogate a brand until it confesses”.
