The Gauteng Film Commission (GFC) has appointed Seitiso Mogoshane as Information Officer. The new position within the GFC is to ensure greater support to the film production sector, as well as regular liaison with government entities regarding production activity in and around the Province
Mogoshane will work alongside Puisano Phatoli, GFC Marketing Manager, in promoting locations and fielding location enquiries and permit applications. The new position is based on recommendations made by the industry to the GFC.
Mogoshane studied copy writing and creative writing at AAA School of Advertising. She has worked as an Account Manager and Traffic Manager in advertising agencies, including Elements Advertising and Marketing, Hunt Lascaris and Awuzwe Brand Communication. Mogoshane also has extensive experience in television production, having started as a production manager and later as a producer and line producer. She has done work for companies such as Short Ends Pictures, Kagiso TV, Endemol SA, Ochre Media and 24 Frames Collective.
