The Los Angeles Times reports that major Hollywood studio Warner Bros. is planning to make its films available for online rental in China at the same prices the pirates charge. This is a mere $1 per film, with some films available at only 60 cents.
Warner’s believes that this will combat piracy of its films in China. Distribution will be expedited by Union Foole Technology.
