According to a new study from CSA’s Observatory for DTT Reception, the number of French households equipped with a DTT adaptor has risen by 15.6 percentage points to reach 31.7%, while satellite subscriptions represent 14.6%, ADSL 13.2% and digital cable 6%.
14.6 million households are now equipped with at least one digital access. A year ago it was 48% households as compared to 57.8% now. France’s digital switch on is set for November 2011.
At the end of March, DTT transmissions covered an average 83.3% of the population vs 71.4% last September 2007.
