South Africa’s premier brand communication awards, the Loeries, are inviting submissions for entry from public relations (PR) agencies.
Says Loeries MD Andrew Human: “As PR agencies are active in brand promotion, we feel it makes sense for the Loeries to recognise their work as well. Likewise, since the Loeries are associated with excellence in brand communication, a win at the Awards will bring recognition and industry stature to the PR agency.’
Although there isn’t a specific PR category, PR agencies are invited to submit work in which they have executed an aspect of a brand promotion campaign in an original way. For example, a PR agency that carried out a direct mail campaign could enter their work in the Direct and Promotional Print category. Likewise, a PR agency that handled a creative invitation for a client would be entered into Communication Design, or a through-the-line campaign could go into the Integrated Campaign category.
The entry deadline is 16 May. Entries can be submitted online at www.theloerieawards.co.za.
The Loerie Awards take place in Margate, KwaZulu-Natal on 26 and 27 July.
