Ad Agencies partnering with television

Ad agencies interested in developing global brands, sponsorship opportunities and content ownership, have started to come to MIPTV. Particularly prominent is Ogilvy & Mather which feature both in the exhibition area and on the conference programme. Rory Sutherland, Ogilvy Group UK was a keynote speaker on the topic of Mobile Media on Wednesday morning.

MIPTV and its sister MIPCOM are actively marketing the two markets to ad agencies on the basis that there is a business synergy between advertising and television, mobile as well as the Internet. “Advertising companies are interested in becoming your partner whether discussions lead to co-production, financing of original content or other financial solutions, including the acquisition of digital and traditional TV rights,’ says Paul Johnson, Director of the TV Division.
