Daily Variety reports that the two men credited with resolving the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike are expected to begin informal talks with the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, regarding the upcoming contract renewals. The two men are News Corp’s Peter Chernin and Disney’s Robert Iger.

Fears are rife in Hollywood that the actors’ unions will follow the WGA’s lead and go on strike. Tinsel Town is still trying to recover from the effects of the WGA strike which ran from November to mid-February and crippled production in the process.
