A creative approach has been taken for a new TV series to air on ITV. A Dog Rescue series has been developed by ITV Customer Relations based on a brief by Pedigree dog food’s media planning agency. The series will be paid for by the pet food company.
The observational documentary, to be aired in a Sunday evening slot, is set in The Dog Trust in Harefield and Manchester Dog’s Home.
Besides the TV platform, additional content, including video, will be available at itv.com. A further 30 brand owners, including telecoms, technology, automotive and utilities, are said to be interested in becoming involved in similar ad-funded series, ITV said.
