Nicolas Cage’s “National Treasure 2′ has found gold at the South African box office, having clocked up a total of R3.7m in one week of release (11 to 17 January).
In second place during the same week was the high earning fantasy “Enchanted’, which after four weeks has made an impressive R8.7m. This was followed by the intellectual chic flick “Jane Austen Book Club’, then “Evening’ and “Underdog’.
“National Treasure 2′ was also the top earner for the weekend 18 to 20 January, followed by the new horror release “Saw 2′. (Figures supplied by SAFACT)
