Metropolitan Republic, one of the satellite agencies in the Jupiter Drawing Room group, brought on board the skills of Frieze Films’ director, Steve Tanchel, for one of its latest commercials for MTN Summer.
Led by former Hunt Lascaris TBWA executive creative director, Paul Warner, Metropolitan Republic is fast building a reputation for mercurial and unpredictable work.
Tanchel provided his own brand of innovation by using a track from local outfit Desmond & The Tutus and a host of still shots from a rooftop-party-of-note to create the energetic spot.
