Meanwhile, Willie Esterhuizen’s South African slapstick comedy “Poena is Koning’ is performing well and reached the number five spot during the same week, with R824,956 in takings.
Predictably, the Hollywood Blockbuster “Rush Hour 3′ (starring Jackie Chan and Chris Rock) is blitzing the box office, with R8.6m in two weeks.
The chef-related Catherine Zeta Jones/Aaron Eckhart starrer “No Reservations’ is in third spot with R2.9m in two weeks while the new animated release, “Bratz – The Movie’ has made R914,221. (Figures supplied by SAFACT)
