Hollywood’s awards season is well underway and the latest list of nominees to be announced is that of the Visual Effects Society (VES), which celebrate VFX work across film, broadcast and music videos.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest and Charlotte’s Web have the largest number of nominations, while the current remake of Battlestar Galactica picked up the most TV nods. Casino Royale and Batman Returns are the two nominees for Outstanding Special Effects in a Motion Picture.
The 5th Annual VES Awards Gala will be held on Sunday, 11 February at the Kodak Grand Ballroom at Hollywood and Highland. Here is the full list of nominees:
