The Arts & Culture Trust (ACT) invites formal, informal and community based institutions involved in cultural or heritage education and training to submit applications for bursaries for the 2007 academic year.
Applications must be submitted on the prescribed application form which can be obtained from the ACT Offices in Woodmead or downloaded electronically from www.act.org.za. The deadline for applications is Friday 20 October 2006 and no late applications will be considered. The ACT board of Trustees will review the applications received and successful applicants will be announced on 10 November 2006.
ACT helps to foster and develop creativity in South Africa through the evaluation and support of arts, culture and heritage projects and also provides bursary funds to formal and non-formal educational institutions specialising in arts and culture, and these in turn distribute such funds to individual students at their institutions.
