No rain on the Loerie parade

This year the organisers of the Loerie Awards have decided that they are not prepared to take a chance on rain making the event a wash-out. Margate, KwaZulu-Natal’s South Coast will again play host to the annual Loerie Awards but this year it will not take place in September but from Friday 27 July to Monday 30 July 2007.

The new Castrol brand ad was shot on location in Cape Town by production company Frieze Films. The commercial depicts a Castrol airstream van emerging from a high-tech sci-fi style hangar in a desolate desert landscape to cross inhospitable terrain in a superhero role - racing to the rescue with Castrol oil to lubricate unwilling engines and free them from the "dark force of engine failure’.
