Adobe wins Emmy Award for Flash Video

Adobe Systems Incorporated has won a Technical and Engineering Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for its Flash Video technology, in recognition of the software's pivotal role in bringing television content to the Internet.

The inaugural South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAS) took place during two red carpet gala events on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 October at Gallagher Estate in Midrand. Attended by a host of film and television personalities, the main ceremony on Saturday was broadcast live on SABC2.
