
Last week, Michael Djaba CCO of IFactory Live Africa, an award winning production and management company of reality shows, docu-series, lifestyle and action-adventure programming and Africa’s biggest stars completed the prestigious Harvard Business School Programme 2018.
With tutelage from Professor Anita Elberse whose previous class taught LL Cool J, Channing Tatum, Katie Holmes, and sports star Dwayne Wade; saw Michael Djaba walk away with a wealth of knowledge about The Business of Entertainment and Sports. A programme which teaches executives how to acquire proven approaches for launching and managing creative products and portfolios, managing and marketing talent, assessing and determining when to make smaller versus blockbuster bets, identifying and capitalising on market disruptions, and other strategic challenges.
This years attendees included sports and entertainment legend, Emmy Award winner and Good Morning America host Michael Strahan, Brazilian professional footballers, Dan Alves and KaKa Leite, American World Cup alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn and Everybody Loves Raymond executive producer Stu Smiley. Executives from HBO, SnapChat, Nike, Viacom, 9gag, Live Nation, Players Tribune, Morgan Stanley and Havas were also in attendance.
