GauTV, Gauteng’s very own television channel, will make its debut on DStv on 19
October 2015. Based in the heart of Johannesburg, GauTV aims to depict life in
Gauteng as South Africa’s financial capital through a variety of thought-provoking
and general entertainment shows.
The channel aims to be the voice of Gauteng, reflecting the rich diversity of the
province – from lavish Sandton lifestyles to the existence of the Bekkersdal
township; from prominent individuals in society to ordinary Gautengers. It will also
reflect the diversity of voices through its multiple language formats including
English, Afrikaans, Setswana, SePedi, Tshivenda, Xitsonga and isiZulu.
Zallywood Productions is responsible for the production of the channel.

Showbizz 411 is a talk show about weekly celebrity and entertainment
news, exclusive interviews with the stars, red carpet coverage, reviews and
fashion, hosted by Lexi Van of Big Brother Mzansi Season 3.
Picture Perfect will provide beauty tips, facial makeovers and aesthetic pampering.
Assertiveness is an edgy talk show for the youth by the youth,
tackling taboo and day to day topics with studio guests debating freely and
unhindered.
GauTV will broadcast on DStv channel 265 from 06h00 to 18h00 daily to DStv
Access, Family, Compact, Extra and Premium customers.
