SHIFT returns to SABC1 screens Mondays and Tuesdays from 13 October at 11h00. The mid-morning live talk show is presented by Aaron Moloisi, Rhulani Baloyi and Kamohelo Bombe.

“The 12th season of SHIFT focuses on young achievers, role models and case studies from everything that constitutes life in Msanzi; social, political, entertainment, financial, community, psychological, entrepreneurial, innovative, health and wellness. The show has a new fresh, youthful and vibrant outlook. SHIFT is expanding its interactivity beyond live call-ins and social media to include an exciting website where viewers can find out about future shows, suggest topics, make comments, watch episodes, upload videos of interest, interact with other viewers and form an active SHIFT fan club,’ says Surekha Singh, commissioning editor at SABC Education.

Rhulani Baloyi is the essence of determination, refusing to allow her blindness to hinder her or solicit sympathy. Baloyi is knowledgeable, respectable and incisive. She gives credible and current input to SHIFT and has embraced the social media revolution by reading Facebook comments in Braille.

Aaron Moloisi’s passion is presentation at which he gives the exact degree of understanding and empathy. He turns around difficult situations with outstanding ease and is never at a loss for the right words or the right questions. His first career was that of a scientist which he eschewed for television.

Kamohelo Bombe is known for her high-energy, down to earth attitude and overriding compassion. Her outgoing personality allows her to strike a rapport with guests creating productive and energetic conversations. Kamo has set her sights on becoming a household name in the media arena.

SHIFT screens live on SABC1 every Monday and Tuesday from 11h00 to 12h00.
