Each week in July a high-profile celeb will join the V Entertainment studio to help celebrate Vuzu’s fourth birthday.
Gossip Gangsta Mika Stefano kicks the celebrations off on Wednesday 3 July followed by reality television star Dineo Ranaka on Wednesday 10 July. Comedian Trevor Gumbi will help blow out the candles on Wednesday 17 July, Highveld Stereo’s Anele Mdoda will be in studio on Wednesday 24 July and multi-award winning hip hop star AKA will close off the celebrations on Wednesday 31 July.
DStv’s homegrown entertainment offering, Vuzu, was launched on 1 July 2009 offering a mix of locally brewed and internationally sourced entertainment with a lot of viewer interaction.
Viewers on DStv Channel 123 can look forward to the LIVE V-Entertainment Special from Miller BoomTown at this year’s Durban July hosted by Lalla Hirayama, Dineo Moeketsi and newcomer Denise Zimba. A number of local series have also become fan favourites, including Dineo’s Diary, MoLove and 10 over 10.
V Entertainment airs live on Mondays to Fridays at 18h00 and its weekly omnibus screens on Saturdays from 09h00 to 11h00.
