Little One, directed by Darrell Roodt, releases nationally on 26 April 2013.
The movie tells the story of a six-year-old girl left for dead in the veld near Johannesburg after being raped and badly beaten.
Pauline (Lindiwe Ndlovu), a middle-aged woman, finds her and takes her to hospital. While Pauline oversees the girl’s recovery, she begins an investigation to try and uncover what happened to the young victim.
When Pauline’s attempt to adopt the little girl fails, she kidnaps her instead.
Little One also stars Vuyelwa Msimang, Mutodi Neshehe, Nompumelelo Nyiyane, Luzuko Nqeto, Vicky Kente, Jonathan Taylor, Thami Baleka, Richard Lukunku and Sarah Kozwoloski.
