An African Journey: The Great Lakes of Africa is a local documentary that premieres on SABC3 on Thursday, 17 January at 10h00. Elsabe Nel treks through 12 000 km of beautiful African landscapes to visit the five big lakes, Kariba, Mweru, Tanganyika, Victoria and Malawi.
En route she visits unique areas in which spectacular waterfalls are located, the Serengeti and the Ngoro crater, scuba dives in Lake Tanganyika and looks for wild chimpanzees in the Mahale Mountain National Park in Tanzania.
