A month ago Metro FM announced that Jameson Select Reserve would be giving four of their winning listeners a weekend experience of a lifetime. This experience included an all-expenses paid trip to Brooklyn, New York for seven days, as well as a city tour to experience the New York night life.
To top it off the Metro FM winners saw Jay-Z live in concert, his first concert in Brooklyn in 10 years. Jay-Z presented his new basketball team, the Brooklyn Nets, and opened his new stadium, The Barclay Centre, with a once in a lifetime concert with an all-star lineup.
The winners were guests of honour at a VIP send-off party at The Sands, which boasted an incredible DJ lineup featuring the Naked DJ, Spectacular, Naves, Vigilante, and Megabrain amongst others. They also received Ray Ban sunglasses, R3,000 G-Star Vouchers, an iPad, Jay-Z’s CD catalogue, a bottle of Jameson Select Reserve, a Cellini leather back pack, and some spending money.
