Experiential agency Tinderbox responded to a Vodacom Business brief to put on a sizzling Casino Royale-themed event earlier this month.
They created a multi-touchpoint experience for Vodacom’s guests incorporating themed decor and lunch menu, a hidden Salon Prive gaming area, Las Vegas hostesses, an illusionist, saxophonist and internally-lit cocktail bar.
Custom-printed “Bidvest Bucks’ allowed guests to enjoy a harmless flutter on the poker, blackjack and roulette tables.
Also popular was a Vegas-themed “living art’ cocktail table. This comprised a hostess “embedded’ in the centre of a table gliding among the guests to serve their drinks.
“When Vodacom Business needed assistance to pull together an important hospitality event for their Bidvest clients, they called us in for a detailed briefing,’ said Tinderbox managing director, Dom Smith.
“With such a clear idea of what was required and the help of our extraordinary network of suppliers, we were able to devise a concept that really sparked and crackled all afternoon.
