Critically-acclaimed US prime time drama series Dirty Sexy Money returns to SABC3 for its second season, starting on Tuesday 29 May at 9.10pm. Season two continues to find the absurdly wealthy Darling family of New York City mixed up with the wrong people and embroiled in some bad situations.
Fortunately for the preeminent family, idealistic lawyer Nick George takes care of their legal needs, which often run into shady territory.
Dirty Sexy Money is created by Emmy-nominated Craig Wright (Brothers & Sisters, Lost, Six Feet Under). Wright, Greg Berlanti (Brothers & Sisters, Everwood), Josh Reims (Felicity, Everwood), Oscar-nominated Matthew Gross (Day Break) and Bryan Singer (House, Superman Returns, The Usual Suspects) are executive producers.
The series revolves around lawyer and family man Nick George, portrayed by Peter Krause. When Nick’s father mysteriously dies in a plane crash, he agrees to take his position as the Darling family’s lawyer, while trying to discover who committed the murder. The Darlings, the richest family in New York, constantly rely on Nick to solve their problems. Nick struggles to balance his morals and family life while dealing with the demands of the Darlings.
The series also stars Donald Sutherland as Tripp Darling, William Baldwin as Patrick Darling, Natalie Zea as Karen Darling, Glenn Fitzgerald as Reverend Brian Darling, Lucy Liu as Nola Lyons, Seth Gabel as Jeremy Darling, Zoe McLellan as Lisa George, Jill Clayburgh as Letitia Darling and Blair Underwood as Simon Elder.
