Ster-Kinekor Cinema Nouveau has announced that a brand new state-of-the- art self-service food and drink boutique opened at the Brooklyn Cinema Nouveau at the end of March, keeping abreast with worldwide cinema trends.
The self-service boutique offers customers snacks and beverages such as “light, fresh popcorn, decadent sweets, chocolates and ice cold drinks’.
After conducting extensive research into their customer experience, Colin Barclay of Ster-Kinekor explains why Cinema Nouveau has launched the unique self-service boutique: “We felt that the current method of service delivery could be enhanced to create a singular environment that would complement the brand positioning of Cinema Nouveau. In addition, this concept allows the consumer to be “in charge’ when they are selecting their favourite refreshments, while still allowing us to serve the essentials such as Coke and Popcorn – must haves for any good cinema outing. At the same time, a larger range of beverages and confectionery is being introduced. Healthy drinks such as iced tea and fresh fruit juice are available together with exotic- chocolates such as Madecasse and Toblerone.’
According to a press statement, the box office at Brooklyn Cinema Nouveau will soon also sport the same sleek and modern look to complement the entire new image.
