Cape Town based screenwriter Marc Bloom has signed with well known Los Angeles and New York based management company, Zero Gravity Management, which doubles up as a production company and has produced films such as Running Scared with Paul Walker and the Oscar-nominated The Cooler with Alec Baldwin.
Says Bloom: “Zero Gravity represents a wide variety of talent including the writers of the Sherlock Holmes franchise (starring Robert Downey Jnr), the directors of Underworld, and actor Kellan Lutz of Twilight fame, among many other powerful Hollywood names.’
Bloom is currently developing two projects with Zero Gravity, including a tent pole action movie with producer Mark Williams, who is behind such films as Flawless, starring Michael Caine and Jude Law, and The Cooler.
“Zero Gravity is also working on a supernatural horror script with an African slant and aims to have both projects circulating with studios in the very near future,’ explains Bloom.
He also has a number of other projects in various stages of development with both local and international producers.
