The International Association of Broadcasting Manufacturers (IABM) has announced that 11 more broadcast and media technology suppliers have joined the association in the past three months.
New IABM members include Arkivum, Bowens, Bradley Engineering, Fujifilm, Glensound, Jampro Antennas, Quadrus, Radioscape, RTSS, and Signiant. The announcement comes just ahead of the IABM Annual Conference, scheduled for December in the UK.
“The IABM member community continues its rapid growth, adding even greater depth and diversity to the companies already on our rolls,” said Peter White, director general at the IABM. “IABM’s ongoing expansion across the United States, Europe, and other markets demonstrates that the information, services, representation, and expertise we provide offer real benefits to our member companies.”
Members of the IABM gain access to market intelligence on challenges and trends across the industry as well as financial indices. The IABM also produces the Global Valuation Report, which sizes the global supply industry. In addition to representing members at key industry events such as IBC, BIRTV, BCA, Broadcast India, BVE, CABSAT, CCBN, CSTB, Inter BEE, NAB, and NATEXPO, for which the association offers discounted stand space, the IABM hosts its own annual conference and a variety of social and regional networking events.
The technology services available through the IABM include reporting from organisations such as SMPTE, ABU, and EBU; webinars; advisory services; and regular updates on legislation affecting the industry. The IABM Training Academy has also been formed to provide technology training for industry engineers and members receive significant discounts on course places.
