The third season of 90 Plein Street, produced for SABC Education by Born Free Media, will start broadcasting on SABC2 on Tuesday, 1 November at 9.34pm. There are 26 episodes for viewers to look forward to.
In Episode 1, a press conference introduces Dineo (Warona Seane) to the media as new chair of the mining portfolio committee. After the press conference, Trevor (Jody Abrahams) approaches Dineo and tells her that he wants to write an article on her for a Sunday Newspaper.
Suraya (Nadine Naidoo) hosts a dinner party for Dineo when Oratile (Neo Ntlatleng) and Itumeleng (Florence Mokgatsi) show up. Later Dineo sees a television report about 12 miners trapped underground and a rescue team trying to get them out. Tshepo (Mothusi Magano), leader of the Youth League, is seen with his fellow comrades.
