Al Tariq (The Way), the sequel to award-winning local documentary The Letter, will be broadcast on SABC3 on Sunday 23 October at 10pm.
The documentary will journey with peace activist Ali who works in Palestine trying to bridge the hatred that each side feels. His life has changed to the point that he wants to become an activist politically-a move not entirely welcomed by the Parents Circle Group that he was part of.
The Letter airs on SABC3 on Sunday 16 October at 10pm, and follows an Israeli mother who lost a son to sniper fire during his service in the reserve army.
Speaking from the heart, she wrote a letter to the sniper’s family, seeking closure and reconciliation.
A repeat to Al Tariq will be broadcast on Thursday 27 October at 9am.
