July marks the second birthday of South African popular entertainment channel Vuzu, part of the DStv pay-TV bouquet.
The channel is known for a mix of home-grown programmes and youth-skewed international shows.
Vuzu flagship show V-Entertainment, which airs weekdays at 6pm, will offer a star-studded line-up of guest presenters in July, including Trevor Gumbi, Thudacats and Bonang Matheba.
Comedian Trevor Gumbi will kick start the birthday celebrations on Monday 11 July, bringing his trademark sense of humour to V-Entertainment.
The following week “It Girl’, deejay and presenter Bonang Matheba will be guest presenting V-Entertainment on Nelson Mandela’s birthday on 18 July. According to a press statement, she will be “adding a huge dose of sex appeal and sheer star-power to the show – and underscoring Vuzu’s growing status as Africa’s leading entertainment channel’..
Finally, Running With The Reps’ Thundacats – Kea and Thato Deluxe will appear on V-Entertainment on 25 July. The two have proved hugely popular on the Vuzu reality television show about dance crews, The Repertoires.
