Season 1 of crime drama CSI: New York, part of the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation franchise will air on SABC3 on Mondays and Tuesdays at 10pm, starting on 5 July.
The series centres on forensic investigators, under the leadership of Detective Mac Taylor, who use high-tech science to follow the evidence and solve crimes in the Big Apple.
CSI is the number one franchise in the world, with all three series ranking number one in their respective time periods and placing in the top 10 of all drama series on US television. Internationally, all three series of the CSI franchise currently rank among the top 20 US series in Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom, while each series is also licensed in over 190 territories.
