Big Brother Amplified caused excitement over the weekend with the announcement by series presenter IK during the live eviction show that the season would have two winners, each taking home a US$200,000 cash prize.
It is the first time ever that Big Brother Africa will award two winners, although the housemates will only find out about the double prize during the final show.
The surprise announcement came almost at the halfway point of the series which is set to end on 31 July with a two hour finale.
