Interactive youth channel Vuzu, found on the DStv pay-TV bouquet, is launching a lifestyle reality show that will give viewers insight into the world of South Africa’s rich and famous.
Top Shayela, presented by Siyabonga Ngwekazi, made its debut on 4 May at 7:30pm with an episode featuring South African “It Girl’ Bonang Matheba.
According to a statement each episode will feature a South African celebrity and viewers will get to hear their personal story, including how they made it onto the A-list and what is required to stay there, at all costs. The show promises to offer no-holds-barred access into the world of celebrity that many envy or want to emulate.
The show will also explore the softer side of celebrities looking at the charities they support and the heartache they may have suffered.
Other celebrities to feature in upcoming episodes include Uyanda Mbuli, Da L.E.S, Somizi and the controversial DJ Sbu.
