Jaden Smith is set to star opposite his father Will Smith in director M. Night Shyamalan’s new sci-fi film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Shyamalan and Smith will produce the untitled film, set 1,000 years into the future where a young boy “navigates an abandoned and sometimes scary Earth to save himself and his estranged father after their ship crashes’. The screenplay is by M. Night Shyamalan and Gary Whitta.
Jaden Smith made his big screen debut in 2006’s The Pursuit of Happyness and recently starred in The Karate Kid.
