Aspirant scribes will sharpen their storytelling skills and learn the fundamentals of writing fiction and non-fiction at The Writing Studio’s motivational and inspirational The Write Voice creative writing workshop.
The workshop takes place on Tuesday evenings from 6pm until 9pm on April 5, 12, 19 and 26 at Level One in Greenpoint.
During the workshop writers will explore their subject matter, breathe life into the characters, develop a story sensibility, and write a short story that will be read during the last session and receive feedback from others in the group.
The workshop also examines how writers can take ownership of their writing and adapt their short story into a feature film, for television, the stage or even a novel.
The Creative Writing workshop is ideal for writers who find it difficult to start writing, not sure what medium to write for, or what to write.
