Into the Dragon’s Lair which pushes the boundaries between man and crocodile has won an award for Excellence in Underwater Cinematography at the BLUE Ocean Film Festival held recently in Monterey, USA.
NHU Africa’s Into the Dragon’s Lair, with co-production partners Animal Planet US and Animal Planet International is an unforgettable documentary thriller. This incredible story was captured by South Africa’s legendary Craig and Damon Foster on location in the Okavango Delta, Botswana.
Having received international recognition, Into the Dragon’s Lair is also a finalist for two Panda Awards at the Wildscreen Film Festival; the Sound Award and the International People & Animals Award. The winners will be announced in October 2010.
Into the Dragon’s Lair is a true story that reads like a mythological fable about two courageous men who use the strength of their beliefs and their intimate knowledge of animals to bridge the ancient interface between man and reptile.
The film is currently being screened on Animal Planet and the screening dates are; Wednesday 15/09/2010, 20:05 and Thursday 16/09/2010, 14:30. From 1 October the film will be screened at the Labia Theatre in Cape Town.
